First Line Group (FLG) diagnoses a failing pressure hose on a Ford Mondeo IV, Galaxy II and S-MAX. The Ford Mondeo IV and its derivatives are fitted with a DPF matrix that is coated with a platinum-based catalyst. This lowers the temperatures needed to start burning the soot/carbon and is designed to last about 120,000 miles. The DPF is
Checked the hoses which connect DPF to pressure sensor. Then seem to be ok. I wonder if I should replace the pressure sensor, but I'm not convinced since the DP_DPF pid shows 1kPa on idle and up tp 10-12 under load. Tomorrow I plan to visit Ford offical service and see if they're able to reset the DPF_SOOT_LD value with their software.
2007 2.0 tdci doing excessive dpf regeneration. Dpf has been changed and I have monitored the car via elm bluetooth device and so PC software. Regeneration is starting even though egt is only about 160 degree's and pressure difference in the dpf is between 4_9 percent. What else triggers a regeneration besides milage.
