It might be able to be done in the config files but I don't know if there is and perhaps one of the more experienced players like Fury6 might be able to help if they notice this thread. You will have to find a mod that reduces or eliminates traffic fines. I just turn it off and manage my own sleep.

Don't start a long haul when you've got less than 9 hours until your next sleep break. If the job doesn't take more than 11 or 12 hours to deliver, the game won't give you any extra time for sleep breaks. If you push it too far after you start getting fines for avoiding sleep, you will eventually fall asleep at the wheel.
it says you need to rest soon and then the screen goes black ( i fall asleep at the wheel) i then go to a rest place and then turn of my engine by pressing e i then press f then enter but does nothing. My advice would be to do jobs only during the day.
