In my mind, it is more the filter quality that controls synthetic oil changes. Keep in mind that most people change their motorcycle oil at between 3K and 5K, so 12K the synthetic pays for itself if you go with that interval. Not going to make a bit of difference. Your not driving a race car. It's a CRV. The tiny differences between filters has 0 real world effect when compared to the oil you choose to use. Use a higher end oil (Mobil 1 Synthetic for example) and use whatever filter you want. Quality of oil and change intervals have always mattered more than
First oil change was by indicator light (but i was waiting til it came on to install my clutch kit, so first oil change had a clutch kit). Well second and third were 2 days in a row, because i drownd it both nights (didnt know the crankcase vent line wasnt plugged into the grommet in the airbox). JS9qD.
